The single for “Kiseki,” by NIRGILIS, came out today. “Kiseki’ is the OP from the new season of Tetsuwan Birdy: DECODE. I’ve been waiting for this single to come out for a while now. Out of all of the OPs from this spring (or is it still winter?) season of anime, it’s probably the only OP I particularly like. It’s a very energetic song.

This is actually the only song I’ve heard from NIRGILIS before. The PV is pretty interesting, for the sole reason it uses people to anime some of the lyrics. As in, at a certain point, the people use their own bodies to combine into romanji.

The PV of the song uploaded on youtube a couple of weeks ago. It’s embedded below. You can get the single at the usual places.

Ok, it’s not really soon at all. It seems as though the release is slated for late October. According to cdjapan, the OST costs 3200 yen and comes on two discs. I know I will be ordering a copy when it comes out. You can find a preorder link here.

radiata

Before GrimGrimoire, Radiata Stories held my personal title fastest completion of a game (only rivaled by Growlanser II. I loved many things about Radiata: it’s unique art style, charming characters, and its fun battle system (although, I really wanted the ability to play as other characters.) One thing that really stood out, though, was the game’s music.

Recently, I’ve noticed that I don’t really listen to much Japanese music. I surfed Hongfire’s music torrent forums, but most of them seemed unappealing (on the basis of names?) One group name seemed very appealing, though. Even though I had never heard of them, ROUND TABLE featuring Nino seemed to catch my eye.
