The first volume of
Stray Little Devil was pretty much an impulse buy. It had a pretty cover and the art seemed good enough so I decided to buy it. I had no idea what the manga was about at all. I’m glad that the manga is good enough so that it doesn’t feel like I wasted my money.
The manga takes place in a world populated by angels, demons, and monsters. It stars a girl who has been mysteriously transported to this world due to a summoning spell she attempted to show her friend but failed. The girl, Pam, finds out that she turned into a demon.
She enrolls in this training facility for other young demons-in-training. There, she meets her instructor and two fellow demon trainees and finds out that she needs to find a familiar since in this world, every demon and angel requires one.

Pam, the main heroine of this cute little story. | |
If you’re expecting the kind of story where demons do evil things and the main character slowly turns into some type of evil being, you’re looking at the wrong manga.
Stray Little Devil’s main draw in is its cute character designs and cute stories to go along with it. This is the story of some average, naive high school girl trying to learn to cope in a new world.
With me and most cute manga, I really like the art style. I’m sure those who don’t like loli-looking girls won’t agree with me, though (they would probably hate Ichigo Mashimaro, too.) I’ll let the scans do the talking.
Note: I finally got Lights. That makes me happy. Now the only thing to do is get to 999,999 pts. to get the last challenge mode skin. Then I can go on to the other modes so I can get even more skins. …I’m not addicted.
