So a lot of things have been happening since my last post (part of which has contributed to my lack posting.) I’ll just put some of the more important things in this post.

The most important thing is that classes have started (ok, technically they started a bit before the last post, but I forgot to tell you guys about it >_<) Of note: I'm taking Beginning Japanese I this semester (and sucking horribly at it, so far.) It's kind of odd learning a language where you hear bits of it everyday (ie, anime) and can pick up odd words here and there. It's kind of annoying, actually, haha. I keep on hearing stuff like "wakarimasu" or "asita" (or ashita. My book uses a romanization system that I'm not used to, haha.)

Another thing that happened to me was the purchase of a new laptop. I never really liked the replacement laptop that I got from Alienware in exchange for my hulking 17″ er (1280x800 rez on a 15″ laptop is way too small. For my new laptop, I decided to go with the sweet looking ASUS V1s-B1. You can find its specs here. It’s pretty sweet. I decided to get the modular bay battery (I can switch out the DVD-RW drive and put a battery in its stead) and the docking station. Unfortunately for me, it’s also out of stock. I won’t be expecting to have this on my lap for another two weeks. At least I would’ve gotten a paycheck by then…

The last important thing I’ve done is to install custom firmware on my PSP. I used the Lumines hack (I don’t have a copy fo GTA:LCS). The very first thing I did with my PSP afterwards was to install a custom theme. :D After that, I “acquired” Genso Suikoden and turn it into a eboot file so I could play it on my PSP, which was cool. I have impressions of Suikoden for whenever I have time to post them.
