A few of you might remember a post from a while back claiming that I was looking at Lucky Star as a new series to watch. Well, I just finished watching episodes 15 and 16 today, so now I’m officially caught up. and I have one thing to say: I shall accept Konata is my GODDESS OF OTAKU-NESS.

Konata is something I should strive to be (or maybe, something I shouldn’t.) Unlike me, who is mainly only interested in manga and games, she is into everything. What do I mean by everything? Anime, manga, games, dating sims, eroge and all that good otaku-ish stuff. I am a mere ant when compared to her.

It’s a good thing my otaku level will rise in the future. Depending on how good Japanese classes are at my college are, I might be able to play ren’ai games by the time I graduate (hopefully I’m not being too optimistic about it. I’d hope I’d be able to do it after 6 courses -_-;;) If that happens, I could take advantage of the cheap Japanese prices for manga.

That being said, I still wouldn’t be as good as her. It’s the anime watching, I just don’t do enough of it. Heck, I confused the computer club’s president’s defeat in The Day of Sagittarius from Haruhi as a parody of Garma’s death in Mobile Suit Gundam. Oiy, I was so embarrassed when one of my friends who is not even a really big fan of anime pointed out to me that it Space B attleship Yamato….

If you’re confused about the total lack of direction of this post, you’re with me. It was all so random ;__; As a sidenote, did anyone else get a kick out of all those pedestrians trying to take a picture Tsubasa in episode 16. I wonder how many people were able to see it as a reference to To Heart’s Multi.

I think it’s time for me to end this post before it becomes even more random. I’ll send you guys off with a very Akira-like “bye-bee!”
