Girl-touching DS game? Purchase CONFIRMED
The title and pic almost say it all.
The game is called Kôenji Joshi Soccer 2 and is developed by Starship, a company that I doubt anyone outside of Japan (and probably including most gamers there, as well) knows about. Apparently, the point of this game is to guide your team to victory, although, something tells me that this would sell without having a “point.” Yup, as you guessed. The chances of this coming to the states is zero.
Judging from the scans, I like the character designs for this game a great deal than the … *cough*other*cough* notable DS game. You can find them here.

Apparently, ATLUS is only doing a single print run of their latest (and so far only) American release of the Growlanser series: Growlanser V: Heritage of War. The good thing is that the package includes some extra goodies such as: a keychain, two lenticular cards, three pins, a 100 page art book and a multimedia disc with music as well as artwork. I, for one, welcome the inclusion of Satoshi Urashima’s artwork.

I’m actually ashamed of myself for not finishing this earlier. I think I’ve had this for two year, but have never gotten the chance to finish it. It’s my favorite of the N1 games (although, the only other one I’ve played is Disgaea.) Not only do I think the overall gameplay is better than Disgaea, but the overall story, while not nearly as hilarious, is better and more serious. That, and it didn’t require nearly as much grinding as Disgaea does. I actually had to grind twice in the game as far as I can remember. I’m starting to have trouble of thinking of more games I have to complete. This hasn’t happened in a long time -_-;;
Well, the new victim was Shin Megami Tensei III to be precise. I was finally able to best the last two bosses in the game Friday night. The last boss was pretty easy compared to the boss I had to fight before it (Baal Avatar in my path.) Actually, I only had to fight the last boss twice (I had no idea his 2nd form’s uber attack would be so… uber.)
One of the most interesting things about this RPG is that it’s not about saving the world. Actually, it’s already too late to do that. The world ends in the first 30 minutes of the game. In its place, a temporary world, the Vortex World, is created. Your character and 6 other humans are the only ones to survive the end of the world, although they all become separated. While being transported, you get turned into a Demi-Fiend, a demon with a human heart. Your job, you find out, is to create a world based on a Reason from one of the other humans.
Looking back: Radiata Stories OST
Before GrimGrimoire, Radiata Stories held my personal title fastest completion of a game (only rivaled by Growlanser II. I loved many things about Radiata: it’s unique art style, charming characters, and its fun battle system (although, I really wanted the ability to play as other characters.) One thing that really stood out, though, was the game’s music.

It’s been an interesting weekend. The very first thing I wake up to is the sound of my OS dying on my spare laptop (ok, it didn’t make a sound, it just reported that the boot file was corrupted.) Unfortunately, I didn’t have my Vista DVD on me (just a DVD-RW, which this laptop can’t read.) So, no more Windows for this laptop.
I decided to get Ubuntu. I thought getting it would be easy, but I was very, very wrong. Of course, since I didn’t have a computer of my own, I had to rely on a friend to burn me a copy. It was just my luck when the first turned out to be a dud. Of course, it was able to go into Live CD mode before anything wrong happened, which left my laptop to be the suspect for any errors. It wasn’t until trying the 3rd Ubuntu CD (and one Kubuntu DVD,) that I was able to install Ubuntu. Three hours after the initial installation, I was (partially) able to get it working like I wanted it to.

The Gundam Musou demo came out for PSN last week, so I decided to give it a go. Yes, I did call it Gundam Musou. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam is too stupid of a name for me to mutter. Both titles are accurate, though, for telling you what the gameplay is like. Gundam Musou, quite literally, is Dynasty Warriors with the warriors replaced with mobile suits from various Gundam universes. Dynasty Warriors players will feel quite at home playing this.
